Nazareth: Until We Drop
Šmídmajer's documentary film is a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most famous bands in rock history. In the 1970s, Nazareth ranked in the music charts along with such prominent names as the Rolling Stones, Sweet, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Genesis. The founding members Dan McCafferty and Pete Agnew have known each other since school and have been playing together for over 40 years. These Scottish veterans of the music business still sell out concerts and their music still bursts with incredible energy. The film was shot in the Czech Republic, Scotland and Austria. The filmmakers followed the band on their 2011 tour, and even visited a recording session for Nazareth's album Big Dogz. Interviews with fans are also included to provide other interesting takes on this unstoppable band.
